Fully automated battery charger, uninterruptible power and buffer power supply in one housing

New professional chargers Bosch BAT 645 and BAT 690 for all types of batteries of cars and trucks

​Universal chargers Bosch BAT 645 and BAT 690 with an output current of a charge of 45 and 90 A respectively are reliable assistants in any professional automobile workshop. Due to the function of automatic determination of the nominal voltage, they can be used with both car batteries (12 V) and with the battery of commercial vehicles (24 V)In addition to conventional lead-acid and gel batteries, these chargers are suitable for working with batteries manufactured using the new AGM technologies  (with the distribution of electrolyte in porous fiberglass separators) and with advanced lithium-ion batteries (lithium-iron-phosphate batteries LiFEP04 or , shortly, LFP). Thanks to the versatility of the devices, charging of any type of battery takes place in a fully automatic mode. In addition, for each type of battery, the user can select special charging characteristics, taking into account the features of various technologies.

Chargers BAT 645 and BAT 690 also have additional modes of operation: they can act as a backup power source or a source of buffer power.  Acting as a backup source, these devices provide power to the vehicle's on-board network when replacing the battery. The buffer charge mode is of great importance in the daily life of the car workshop.  In this case, the device provides the on-board network the additional external power - for example, during software update of various control units.
