Bosch introduced a new line of Ultra White 4 200 K lamps for external lighting. New models H1, H4 and H7 have a 30% greater light output than standard halogen lamps. Ultra White 4 200 K gives a nice white light with a xenon shade and is designed to serve cars, in the configuration of which halogen lamps are still used.

Halogen lamps are well known in the lighting market and have gained popularity as economical sources of bright light with a long life. Lamps are made of durable quartz glass, especially resistant to high temperatures and the influence of chemicals. Inside the lamp, filled with halogen vapor, there is an incandescent spiral. Thanks to this design, halogen lamps are able to provide bright even light with relatively low power consumption: they operate on a 12 V network, have rated power up to 55 W and optimum light output from 15 to 22 lm / W. Types of socles H1, H4 and H7 are among the most common.

The new model Bosch Ultra White has an excellent light output, in which light is better reflected from road signs and markings, which allows you to detect obstacles earlier. Lamps have a nice white hue with the effect of xenon lighting. With them, the driver feels more confident and calmer in the dark.

An important point is the process of installing and replacing halogen lamps, since even a slight contamination of its surface can lead to an unstable distribution of temperature and light flux inside the bulb itself, which in the further threatens to malfunction the element. It is recommended to install and replace halogen lamps in the workshop. If it is not possible to contact with a specialist, skin contact with the lamp surface should be avoided: a clean napkin or gloves should be used for installation.
