Bosch introduces on the market a new high-tech, non-contacting stand for adjusting wheel alignment angles FWA 9000.  Innovative three-dimensional technology makes it possible to quickly and accurately measure all four wheels and calculate the value of camber and convergence in a few seconds. The stand is designed for high-load station with high loading, thus does not require additional space: it can be installed on the car acceptance post, and the free space in front of the post is used for adjusting the headlight and system of adaptive cruise control.

The measuring system of the stand for each of the wheels consists of two stereo cameras, a laser projector and a car positioning system. The laser projector generates 4000 points per wheel and body. With the help of two stereo cameras, the image is transferred to the system to build a 3D model. The algorithm for processing the 3D model calculates the geometry of the installation of the wheels and their mutual arrangement. All measurements take place without the physical contact of the measuring system with the wheel, tire or car. This eliminates damage to disks, tires, errors in the installation of targets or heads, while simultaneously achieving speed and accuracy of measurements. Stand FWA 9000 automatically detects the movement of the car and starts the primary measurements, it is easy to control with the remote control.

The stand is equipped with Smart Align software with a new intuitive user interface. It allows to carry out measurements in three versions: standard measurements, Smart Test (rapid measurement of camber and convergence) and arbitrary measurements (display of selected parameters). The Smart Link adapter allows you to quickly and easily configure the system under any wheelbase. The value of camber and convergence angles is also displayed in the raised position of the car for easy and quick adjustment, and the results can be compared with test values.

Stand FWA 9000 provides the receipt and processing of results for all wheels of the car within a few seconds. This is the most optimal option for the downloaded stations, which allows to optimize the customer service time and high productivity of the service station.
